What Is the Water Efficiency Tool?
The Water Efficiency Tool helps your customers understand their water usage and shows them which government rebates they may be eligible for.

Step 2: Customer uses the WET tool
Customers enter their address and a few basic details.
The app analyses water usage using property and local data.
They will receive a water efficiency score
They can view potential savings and check government rebates (worth up to $1,900).
Finally, they’re prompted to connect with local installers, like you, to complete the upgrades.

Customer Eligibility
To qualify for SA Water rebates, customers must:
Be Eyre Peninsula residents in eligible postcodes: 5602, 5603, 5604, 5605, 5606, 5607, 5611, 5670, 5630, 5631, 5632, 5633, 5640, 5641, 5642, 5655, 5671, 5680, 5690, 5661, 5660, 5654, 5653, 5652, 5651, 5650.
Use approved products (Smart Approved WaterMark or Smart Drop certified)
Keep their original itemised receipt
Submit a photo of the installed product
For plumbing work, provide an electronic Certificate of Compliance (eCoC)
Items purchased between 19th November 2024 and 1st December 2024 will be honoured. A receipt with final payment reflected must be provided for lay-by purchases of eligible products on or after 19th November 2024.
Tip: Encourage customers to check the app and confirm their SA Water rebate eligibility before purchasing to ensure they are clear on what will and won't be covered by the rebates.
